Barford & Wramplingham have now been designated as a Neighbourhood Plan Area.

What this means is that we are one step closer to having a significant role to play in the future shape of our villages in terms of the look and feel of new developments, protecting our green spaces and the natural environment, agreeing development boundaries and ensuring that our very specific flooding issues are taken into account when planning applications are decided.

We have selected our preferred consultancy partnership to help us navigate the process of approval for our neighbourhood plan and we have applied for grant funding from SNDC to cover these costs.

We have a small steering group made up of both parish councillors and local residents but we would love to have more representation from residents and local businesses.Everyone is welcome. If you want to get involved please drop the clerk an email barfordpc@gmail.com.

The BT final decision is that they will keep the payphone due "poor mobile signal" in the area.
